Pipeline Fire Near Speaks, Texas Shuts Down FM 2437

The Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office reported a pipeline fire on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, that has shut down FM 2437. According to the Lavaca County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, FM 2437 is closed from LCR 19 on the North side and Wallace Road on the South side and will be closed until repairs can be made. TxDOT is currently assessing the situation.
