Summary of the Momentum Midstream Golden Pass Loop Pipeline Project Video
Hi, Phil Hundl here with a pipeline alert. From time to time, we alert landowners to potential projects in their area. This particular project is known as the Golden Pass Loop Project, managed by Momentum Midstream or Midcoast Pipelines, East Texas Limited Partnership.
The Golden Pass Loop project involves a large, 42-inch diameter natural gas pipeline. It is proposed to run parallel to one of Midcoast’s existing lines within a corridor that already contains many other pipelines.
If you are a landowner, you likely already have several of these pipelines on your property, or they may be adjacent to your property. This new pipeline could potentially be an additional installation on your land.
As a reminder, this is a large diameter, high-pressure natural gas pipeline by Momentum Midstream. It is important for you as a landowner to understand your rights, their obligations, and their duties during this condemnation process. At this stage, they are sending out initial offer letters or packets to landowners.
For more information about eminent domain for Texas landowners, see the different videos that I’ve put out to be better familiar with the process and once again, your rights and their obligations. Good luck.
